The Resourcing Consultant is responsible for delivering the operational recruitment plan for Deliver & Install (typically 7.5 tonne drivers) or technical (skills such as gas/electrical registered engineer) and support services hires across the CSC network Develop effective volume recruitment solutions to ensure that high quality internal and external candidates are hired, making appropriate use of different channels, with agency use as an exception Act as a Subject Matter Expert for colleagues in CSCs, drawing on the expertise of other colleagues where appropriate Build a strong understanding of the different requirements across the network Support other team members and share knowledge/expertise as required, to ensure that the team
Identify appropriate channels to market to attract and engage high quality candidates t respond to ongoing business needs.Working with colleagues across the team, identify opportunities to promote the Team Knowhow customer brand and support initiatives to link it with the Dixons Carphone employer brand
Liaise with site People Coordinators to facilitate assessment centres, interview processes, selection events and open days as required
Attend recruitment fairs and recruitment networking events in the local communities where appropriate
Take responsibility for advertising vacancies using internal and external advertising channels, including writing the job advert copy and liaising with specialists in the Resourcing Team to develop attraction campaigns in line with Employer Brand
Review and screen candidate applications
Complete an initial telephone screen with candidates
Coordinate assessment booking with candidates and assessors
Verbally offer candidates, recording offer details and triggering onboarding and supporting candidates through pre-employment checks and offer /onboarding processes
Undertake research as directed to build and maintain market maps, segment competitor companies and functions to build an overview of potential talent pools in the local areas
Engage with site teams through the P-Cs / Hiring managers to build active networks and encourage speculative applications and referrals
Skills & Experience
Experience in the tools, techniques and approaches to deliver on volume recruitment needs
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels across the business
An understanding of working within an in-house resourcing function within a complex and dynamic operating environment
Experience of working in an environment similar to supply chain/distribution centres would be an advantage
Experience or strong understanding of working with a recruitment system or CV databases as well as the ability to make use of onboard search tools such a LinkedIn
